RootedNomad started as a field journal: notes, photographs, and artwork collected over fifteen years of living and working across East Africa, Europe, and the United States. The shop is where that journal becomes something you can hold. It sells prints, apparel, wallpapers, and everyday gear made for people who travel with curiosity and respect.
I'm Michael Lege, the founder. My work in conservation, agriculture, and community development has taken me from Kenya and Tanzania to Uganda and the Netherlands. The places I've lived taught me that belonging isn't about staying put. It's about how you show up wherever you are.

How your order is made
Every RootedNomad piece is made to order through our trusted print-on-demand partners (Printful, Printify, Gelato, Creativehub, and Printswell).
